Bali Full-Day Bird Watching Experience

Take a 7-8 hours bird-watching experience. Bali is well known for its abundance bird species, with more than a hundred different bird species have been registered.

To start your day, you will have a morning walk through the Ubud Rice Terrace, which is famous for its white-plumed herons and java pon herons, experience the best bird-watching spot in the area. Here you will observe numerous bird species, as well as some rarities if you are lucky.

Your next visit is the Begawan Foundation. It is famous for its Bali Starling conservation and was established in 1999 with its main purpose to save this precious bird from the very threat of exticntion.

To complete your tour, your guide will take you to Goa Lawah, also known as the Bali Bat Cave Temple. This cave is believed to be created around the eleventh century by a saint known as Mpu Kuturan and was part of ancient kingdom of Bali. The ancient temple structures built around the cave entrance are still given prayer on daily basis. Even though the site has no original name when it was built, the existence of thousand of bats that cling on the ceiling and walls of the natural chasm, make the cave iscalled like today.
