This lakeside temple was erected to honor the goddess of the lake, Dewi Danu, the lake itself was formed because of a volcanic eruption around 30.000 years ago. All will be explained by your guide, including the history, the Balinese people, and their culture.

Your next visit would be to the iconic Handara Gate, also known as the pathway to serenity. You are allowed to take an amazing picture in front of the gate with the breathtaking view of green scenery with the gate itself becoming the backdrop for your photo.

Remember your walking shoes, and make sure it is well prepared now because the next stop would be the majestic and beautiful Banyumala Twin Waterfall. Its translucent turquoise water is tempting to get into. Swim and listen to the thunderous roar of the falling water, meanwhile gazing at the vibrant green scenery.

Lastly, visit the iconic Wanagiri Hidden Hills. A series of whimsical high grounds over Lake Buyan and Tamblingan become the highlights of this place. You will experience flying over the lakes and the hill, and enjoy incredible views on a jungle swing. The bird cage and boat-shaped viewing post are also something you should not miss.
